21 Savage is a free man. After 9 days in ICE custody, the rapper’s formally out on bond. The information comes instantly from Savage’s lawyer who shared the excellent news on Facebook.

“For the past 9 long days, we, on behalf of She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known to the world as 21 Savage, have been speaking with ICE to both clarify his actual legal standing, his eligibility for bond, and provide evidence of his extraordinary contributions to his community and society. ”

“In the last 24 hours, in the wake of the Grammy Awards at which he was scheduled to attend and perform, we received notice that She’yaa was granted an expedited hearing. Today, 21 Savage was granted a release on bond. He won his freedom.”

21’s supervisor Kei Henderson additionally confirmed his launch on Twitter.

A “Free 21 Savage” rally was scheduled for right now in Atlanta. The information comes after Jay Z hired lawyer Alex Spiro to assist expedite Savage’s launch.

We’re genuinley glad for 21 and glad he’ll be again house along with his household.  He’s not out of the water but, his deportation listening to continues to be pending—however we’ll take this excellent news for now.
